TACKLING COVID-19: A look back at the response in Africa

In March 2020, the first cases were confirmed in the 12 sub-Saharan African countries where we work, and the already fragile health systems were put to the test.
ALIMA, The Alliance For International Medical Action, was able to intervene quickly and gradually adapt our response to COVID-19. Since November, a new wave is hitting the
continent, and this one is stronger than the first, and deadlier.
