Dr. Cecily Gallup M.D
President

Dr. Cecily Gallup, MD, MPH, is a physician dual-boarded in adult Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and is currently an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). She completed her Master’s in Public Health (MPH) at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with a concentration in International Health, and a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UCLA.  Since then, she has held various hospital leadership positions on faculty at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and Weill Cornell Medical College.  Most recently, she was the Associate Chief of the Section of Hospital Medicine at Lower Manhattan Hospital, a NYP-Weill Cornell hospital. She has worked internationally providing clinical care, training, and conducting research in South Africa, Rwanda, Malawi, and Haiti. While on faculty at Cornell, Dr. Gallup was also a volunteer physician at the Weill Cornell Center for Human Rights and continues to collaborate with Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) to perform medical evaluations of survivors of torture and persecution in support of their applications for asylum.

Dr. Pierre Cremieux

Dr. Pierre Cremieux, PhD is the President of Analysis Group, an economics, finance and strategy-consulting firm, which he joined in 1997.  Prior to joining Analysis Group, Pierre was a Professor of economics at Université in Québec in Montréal. At Analysis Group, he is part of the leadership team and serves as an expert in both litigation and non-litigation matters on issues ranging from antitrust to finance and labor and employment.   

In addition to serving on the board of ALIMA USA, Dr. Cremieux is on the Board of Partners in Health, the Haitian Global Health Alliance (HGHA), and the Health Plan Board of the Boston Medical Center. His scientific research in antitrust and health economics has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals.

Keisha Flint
Director

Keisha Flint brings nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry to ALIMA’s U.S. Board of Directors, offering a wealth of business expertise.

As Managing Director heading the U.S. Equity Derivatives Flow Sales team at Société Générale, she manages hedge funds and institutional clients across a range of vanilla and exotic equity derivative products. Before this role, Keisha worked at BNP Paribas, where she specialized in equity derivatives for insurance companies.

In addition to her professional achievements, she serves as Vice President on the Board of the Americas Women’s Network, the largest employee resource group at Société Générale. Originally from St. Catherine, Jamaica, Keisha’s upbringing instilled in her a strong commitment to philanthropy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Anne-Catherine Faye
Director

Anne Catherine Faye is Vice President at Analysis Group. She applies her background and analytical skills in economics and finance to solve complex issues in litigation and business matters. She has worked on a variety of engagements involving allegations of anticompetitive behavior and other antitrust matters, intellectual property disputes, securities and finance-related litigation, and health care and public policy issues.

For instance, in health care matters, she has provided an analytical framework for evaluating the economic impact of delays in drug reimbursement decisions and the value of primary care and family physicians for adults in terms of various health outcomes and lifestyle indicators. Anne Catherine has consulted with numerous clients in the US and Canada and has assisted expert witnesses and counsel in depositions, trials, and administrative proceedings. She holds a master’s degree in applied financial economics from HEC Montreal and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Université de Sherbrooke.

Olivier Leclerc
Director

Olivier Leclerc is a Senior Partner with McKinsey & Company, a Strategy Consulting Firm, which he joined in 1997. He serves Life Science clients on strategic and operational improvement issues.

Olivier led McKinsey Oncology Sub-Practice in the US for 5 years, launched the Digital and Analytics sub-practice in Life Science, and now leads McKinsey Biotech Practice. Prior to joining McKinsey, Olivier worked in Hong Kong and China for 3 years.

He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a B.A. in business and economics from HEC in France and a J.D. (Maitrise) in French Corporate and Tax Law from the University of Paris.

Alan Harper
Treasurer

Alan Harper is consultant in the field of portfolio credit quality at financial institutions. Alan has 25 years of experience in the financial sector, first with Citicorp and then with The Fuji Bank/ Mizuho Corporate Bank. As Senior Vice President and Credit Supervisor at Fuji Bank and Mizuho Corporate Bank, he conducted diligence on proposals generated by lending units, formulated credit decisions, and controlled exposures to clients in the Americas. In the non-profit area, Alan served as treasurer and director of the non-profit organization, Economists for Peace and Security, from 2006-11. Alan also served as president and officer of the NY Association for Business Economics (1999-2002).

Dr. Alon Unger, M.D
Director

Dr. Alon Unger, M.D. is a Clinical Professor with joint appointments in the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of California San Francisco. At UCSF, Alon is a clinician-educator involved in mentoring and supervising trainees in global health programs in addition to conducting research in Brazil. Additionally, he is affiliated with the UCSF Institute for Global Health Sciences where he works on global health quality initiatives. Prior to joining UCSF, Alon conducted field work in Thailand, Brazil, Uganda and South Africa, among other sites and worked for Médecins Sans Frontières as a medical advisor for the HIV/TB treatment program in Yangon, Myanmar, and served in humanitarian emergencies in Haiti and on the Myanmar-Bangladesh border with the Rohingya population.

Glenda Hersh
Director

Glenda Hersh is an Emmy award-winning producer and co-president and co-CEO of Truly Original Media, two of television’s leading producers of unscripted programming. Glenda co-founded True Entertainment in 2000, alongside business and producing partner Steven Weinstock and also assumed the helm of Original Media in 2015.

Together they lead all creative, development, programming and operations for both companies. Previously, Glenda was a principal in The New York Times-owned New York Times Television and its precursor, Video News International. Glenda’s shows have earned a total of three Emmy awards and ten Emmy nominations.

Auparavant, Glenda était directrice de New York Times Television et de son précurseur, Video News International. Les émissions de Glenda ont remporté au total trois Emmy Awards et dix nominations aux Emmy.

Dr. Moumouni Kinda
Co-opted board member

Dr. Moumouni Kinda is ALIMA’s Global Chief Executive Officer based in Dakar, Senegal. He joined ALIMA in 2012 as medical coordinator, and then worked as in-country head of mission, medical desk supervisor, program manager and Director of Operations. Prior to ALIMA, he was worked in several medical operations in Haiti, Chad, and Democratic Republic of the Congo for Doctors Without Borders. Dr. Kinda is a licensed medical doctor and holds degrees from the University of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso, Deakin University in Australia, IRIS (French Institute for International & Strategic Affairs) and the Cesag Business school in Senegal.

Charlie Kunzer
Executive Director– ALIMA USA

Charlie Kunzer oversees ALIMA USA as Executive Director based in New York.  She has worked for the organization since the inception of the US section in 2015 and as the development manager helped start up the US office.

She spent over a decade working in several development roles at Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and prior to moving to the US, worked at the Science Museum of London, and started her career at JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management in London. Charlie holds a dual honors bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Modern History from University of Westminster, London. 

Diane Lawson
Director

Diane Lawson is a Strategic Executive at Google acting as Strategic Partner Manager. She advises C-level decision-makers on digital transformation. She is spearheading Google’s strategic relationships with its Top French Retail & Travel partners from Digital Marketing to Cloud, Hardware, Artificial Intelligence, Marketing and Policy. Prior to Google, she worked in Strategy and assisted Executive Committees in their strategy and process optimization in leading firms (Ailancy, Lagardère Travel Retail). She also negotiated and closed strategic partnerships for startups. She graduated from ESSEC business school in 2007 with a Master in Business Administration.

Robin Adelstein
Director

Robin Adelstein is Norton Rose Fulbright’s Global Head of Antitrust and Competition and US Co-Head of Commercial Litigation. She previously served as in-house antitrust and litigation counsel at Diageo and Novartis before becoming North American General Counsel of Sandoz, a division of Novartis. Robin has received numerous recognitions, including by U.S. New & World Report as The Best Lawyers in America for Litigation-Antitrust and Antitrust Law, Lawdragon 500 as Leading Global Litigators and Leading Litigators in America, Thompson Reuters as New York Metro Super Lawyer for Antitrust Litigation, BTI as Client Service All-Star, New York Law Journal as Distinguished Leader, and Crain’s New York Business as Notable Women in Law and Notable Diverse Leaders in Law.
 
In addition to serving on the board of ALIMA USA, Robin is on the board of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution.
