ALIMA co-authors article in the New England Journal of Medicine on improving the care of Ebola patients

In an article published in the New England Journal of Medicine, Dr. Richard Kojan, President of ALIMA, collaborated with several humanitarian medicine experts to highlight the changes in the approach being used to care for patients with the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD).

“The ongoing response to the EVD has shown us that higher standards are no longer just goals, but now possible, and that in the event of future unavoidable outbreaks of EVD, no matter where they occur, we can provide the best possible care for the sick and suffering,” said Dr. Kojan.
