South Sudan: ALIMA brings emergency care back to Akobo, where the health care deteriorates

In Chad, empty sachets from nutritional products are collected at health centers and then transformed into bricks by RECYDEP, ALIMA’s local partner. Through the PLASTIK project, this plastic waste is given a second life.

Mbera: understanding a refugee crisis that has lasted for 14 years
In Mauritania, the Mbera camp was designed to host 70,000 people. Today, it shelters around 120,000. Since 2012, families fleeing violence in Mali have sought refuge there, in a region where resources, healthcare services, water, and food are under pressure.
